Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you use this website and when you request a booking at Mia Al Mar Beach Resort (“Mia Al Mar”, “we”, “us”). By requesting a booking you agree to them. Please read them together with our privacy policy and cookie policy.

Booking requests

A booking made on this website is a request until we confirm it. We confirm requests by phone or email. A request we have not confirmed within 72 hours lapses automatically and the rooms are released; we will let you know by email.

The total shown when you book is our price for the rooms and add-ons you chose, for the dates and party you entered, in Philippine pesos. If anything changes before we confirm, such as a room becoming unavailable, we will contact you before your booking is confirmed.

Please give accurate details. We use them to contact you, and the person named on the booking is responsible for the stay.

Payment

No payment is taken on this website. When we confirm your booking we tell you how to send a 50% downpayment (by BDO, Cebuana Lhuillier or Palawan Express); the balance is paid in cash at the resort.

Add-ons

Add-ons such as a tour, a pick-up or an extra mattress are offered subject to availability, and some are limited each day. The add-ons and prices on your confirmed booking are the ones that apply. If you would like to add something after booking, contact us and we will update your booking if we can.

Changing or cancelling

To change or cancel a booking, contact us as early as you can, and at least 24 hours before your check-in date. Cancelling a request before we confirm it costs nothing. Whether a downpayment already sent is refunded or moved to new dates is agreed with you when we confirm your booking. We may cancel a confirmed booking for a guest who does not arrive on the check-in date without telling us.

If we have to cancel or change your booking, for example because the resort cannot open, we will tell you as soon as we can and help you rebook.

Your stay

Check-in and check-out times are shown on this website and in your confirmation. We may ask for a valid ID at check-in. Room capacity is set for each room type, and the number of guests staying may not exceed it.

Guests are expected to respect other guests, our staff and the property, and to follow our house rules on site. We may refuse or end a stay, without refund of amounts already paid, for behaviour that endangers people or property. Guests are responsible for damage they cause beyond normal wear.

Events and functions

Tours, events and small celebrations are quoted separately. Their terms are agreed with you when we confirm the event.

Using this website

We work to keep the information on this website accurate, but descriptions, photographs and amenities are for illustration and may change. Prices and availability are confirmed only when we confirm your booking.

You may use this website to find out about the resort and to make bookings for yourself or others with their permission. You may not misuse it, try to break or overload it, or copy its content for commercial use.

This website uses cookies only as our cookie policy describes. The Google maps on it load only if you accept their cookies; declining does not stop you from using the website or booking.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under Philippine law. Within what the law allows, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or that are caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute will be brought before the proper courts of Pangasinan.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this website when you request a booking is the one that applies to it.
